As the leading museum for London, we tell the story of the world's greatest city and its people - so why not make this the place to discover your story of London

At the Museum of London we connect people with the lived experience of London. The story we tell is one of place and people, evolving through interaction and exchange. We summarise what we do in three words: We Are London.

Our HR office is an exciting place to work, as there is always a lot going on and no two days are the same. We hire, induct and train specialists in a wide variety of roles. This includes our front of house team greeting visitors, to curators and conservators who look after our collections, to our back office operational teams such as Finance, IT and Facilities. Regardless of the role – we always look to hire people with a passion for London.

This apprenticeship is the ideal opportunity to take your first steps into the business world and to develop skills and abilities that will kick-start your career in HR. You will be joining a fun and supportive team and gain great insight into how HR fits into an organisation. You will be providing general administration support across the different HR functions, from recruitment to learning and development, reporting and payroll.

This role is suitable for someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in working in a cultural organisation and wants to learn about HR and museums. You will be working towards the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard.

In order to apply for this apprenticeship you will have achieved 5 GCSEs grades A-C, including Maths and English. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work accurately as well as enthusiasm to develop a career in HR.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 24 September.
Interviews will be held on Monday 7 October.

The Museum of London is committed to equal opportunities and diversity. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and BAME candidates, who are currently under-represented in our organisation.
